Located on the hillside, the traditional type house was built by my father, a masonry contractor by trade.
My husband, also a mason, continues to maintain it.
This family home has a good location: facing south, open view, facing the hill, very close to the picturesque alleys of this village where I was born.
Calm, relaxation in the garden, everything you need for a vacation! Vacationers very often come from far away. Our goal: to welcome them as well as possible and make them want to come back.
We live there happily and are committed to sharing the family and pleasant atmosphere of this house that we love very much.

Summary: A very nice flat in a beautiful medieval village on the hill. From the terrace in the lovingly landscaped garden you have a wonderful view of the valley and the coast. Danielle and Jean-Pierre are very obliging and loving hosts who know how to establish a contact that meets the respective expectations of the guest.

Summary: The property was exceptionally well appointed and very well presented. Kitchen equipment excellent with full size fridge freezer, dish-washer and coffee machine as well as endless crockery etc.. The external arrangements (outside seating under the olive tree with fabulous views over Bormes to sea beyond with additional relaxing loungers under fig trees) were particularly good. Hosts Danielle and Jean-Pierre were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. The appartment itself is but 50/60 yds from the old streets of Bormes. We had a great time there. The only note of caution is that, typical of Bormes, the appartment is accessed by a flight of steps which would not make it suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Summary: We are a family of three who stayed in the apartment for two weeks at the end of May. We have stayed in Bormes two other times before. The apartment is very well located to walk around and sightsee throughout the small, but very picturesque, town. The apartment is located up the hill so there are some steps to walk to get back from the town. The views from the outside of the apartment are amazing. You can see the Mediterranean Sea from the cute outside dining area at the apartment. The owners Danielle and Jean-Pierre live in the apartment right above. When they are out on their balcony they will be willing to give you plenty of great places to visit to sightsee and to dine at. They are very welcoming. The apartment itself is well equipped with items to cook a meal for the family. There are two bedrooms with doors. The master and other bedroom opens up to the gardens or outside sitting area. The master bedroom has a standard European bed so if you are use to a pillow top bed this one will be a bit stiff. The other bedroom has what they call a Click clack bed which really is a futon bed. There is also another click clack bed in the living area. So another person could sleep on that one. There is only one bathroom with a tub and a hand held shower head, typical of an old French bathroom. There is also a clothes washer and a long clothes line outside. The kitchen is good to prepare small meals. The refrigerator is a good size and it also has a dishwasher. They do provide soap for the dishwasher and for hand washing dishes so that was nice. Also they do have kitchen towels and a sponge to clean the dishes. For our family this was the perfect spot for our stay. We really appreciated the hospitality of Danielle and Jean-Pierre and hope to return one day.

Summary: We are a family of four consisting of two parents and two adult children who had the pleasure of spending a week's holiday in Bormes-Les-Mimosas in July. We warmly recommend both the holiday home, the city and especially the super cute and friendly owners of the house Danielle and Jean-Pierre. We got the best reception and felt super well treated all week. Danielle and Jean-Pierre do everything they can to enjoy their holiday, and they are happy to help you to tell you about good eateries, sights, tours and more that are interesting in the area. The house has everything you need and the view from the beautiful terrace is just amazing. We look back on a wonderful week and look forward to returning to the city and the extremely friendly and hospitable owners Danielle and Jean-Pierre.

Summary: This was the perfect place for us: A nice garden with wonderful views towards the sea and the hills. Open air meals in the garden with enough shade. Close to the center of Bormes (less than two minutes walking!) Adequate rooms and kitchen. No noise. Nice housekeepers. Car parking just outside. What else do you need? Ingrid and Gus, Sweden
